We
couldn't wait until
October for another
break so we thought it
only right to go to
Barcelona in Gaudi
year. I bet you didn't
know it is 150 years
since he was born. He
was responsible for the
majority of the weirder
looking buildings in and
around the city. The
Spanish, with their usual
flair, burnt the plans for
what is his best known
building The Sagrada Familia, during the Civil War. There is still a long way to go before it is finished
but is still an amazing sight. As you can see taking in all this culture was very thirsty work. We stayed at
Le Meridien on La Rambla. It was a great place to stay with street performers and posers enjoying the
unique atmosphere at all times of the day and night. We got lost once but Christopher Columbus pointed
us in the right direction.
