Malta has changed a lot

since I was last there in

1978.  The tall building

is the Hilton Hotel and

Conference Centre.  There is

much development still going

on with cranes all along the

coastline.

Standards have much

improved for tourists.  All

the restaurants  and bars

serve massive portions of

excellent food at reasonable

prices.

The population of cars

and people has exploded. 

Driving was always difficult

and now it's nearly

impossible!
