This was quite an 

adventure.  Djerba is an

 island just off the 

southern coast of 

Tunisia.  The only way 

there in April is to fly 

in from Tunis in an 

airplane with propellers 

on it!  Tunis is a very 

modern town with many

 interesting sights

of its own.  Djerba is very isolated but littered with Roman ruins and history.
